About The Position

An Assessment Specialist RN who excels in this role is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing or relevant state licensure required.
  • Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis and psychiatric patients preferred.
  • Experience in psychiatric emergency department, crisis care, patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
  • Current, unencunmbered license to practice by the state board of nursing.
  • CPR and De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
