About The Position

Catholic Early EdCare is expanding its Quality team and is looking for an experienced Assessment & Rating Quality Specialist to help strengthen how they prepare for, review, and improve Assessment and Rating processes across their services. This role requires strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard, National Law and Regulations, and practical experience supporting quality outcomes across multiple early education and care services. The role is based in Brisbane, QLD, and is a full-time, permanent position.

Requirements

A relevant early childhood education and care qualification
Strong knowledge of the NQF, NQS, National Law and Regulations
Experience with Assessment and Rating processes
Experience working across multiple services, such as in a Regional Manager, Quality Consultant or senior service leadership role
Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to translate quality requirements into practical service-level action

Nice To Haves

Experience working with regulatory authorities would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Review Assessment and Rating documentation for quality, accuracy and consistency
Support fair and evidence-based internal quality reviews
Help improve tools, resources and reporting processes
Coach leaders and teams to interpret and apply the NQS consistently
Turn quality insights into practical improvement actions
Identify trends, risks and gaps across services
Support stronger quality practice across our service network
