About The Position
The Cache County Assessor's Office is seeking candidates for an Assessment Data Entry Specialist position. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate and well-documented property records, supporting both assessment functions and public service. It is an entry-level, full-time, onsite position located at 179 N Main St, Logan, UT, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The hourly rate is $20.63, and all benefits begin on the first day of employment.
Requirements
- High school diploma/equivalent
- Data entry/records experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and databases
- Ability to follow written procedures, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with CAMA/GIS/permitting/sketch tools
Responsibilities
- Entering and validating sales and permit-related information.
- Updating property records and sketches using spreadsheets and assessment-related software.
- Supporting record audits, cleanup projects, and report preparation.
- Assisting with field data collection and documentation for appraiser review.
- Providing professional, confidential assistance to the public in accordance with policy and applicable laws.
