About The Position

SAGE Counseling’s Assessment Clinician conducts all aspects of initial client assessments for intake into the relevant SAGE program. The role includes interviewing clients, gathering information for a comprehensive assessment, making a clinical diagnosis, completing client intakes, and preparing the initial individual service plan.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Assessment Clinicians may work from home but must reside in Arizona. The role serves the Phoenix metropolitan area, including the West Valley, East Valley, and Central Phoenix. SAGE provides all equipment needed for the position. Compensation depends on licensure and experience: unlicensed clinicians may earn up to $65,000, associate-licensed clinicians up to $68,000, and independently licensed clinicians up to $70,000.

Requirements

• Minimum of a master’s degree in a behavioral health-related field.
• Experience completing assessments, treatment plans, and diagnoses.
• Must reside in Arizona.

Nice To Haves

• Behavioral health licensure is a plus but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
