About The Position

The Assembly role prepares and assembles components according to assembly instructions, parts lists, templates, and measurements. The position verifies completed components against specifications, resolves assembly problems, and maintains equipment, supplies, production documentation, and a safe, clean work environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Study assembly instructions and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Position parts and subassemblies using templates or by reading measurements.
• Assemble components by checking connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Measure completed components to verify specifications.
• Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notifying the supervisor when additional resources are needed.
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contribute to the team by accomplishing related results as needed.
