About The Position
Join the world's largest HVAC company, named by Forbes as one of America's Best-In-State Employers 2025! This role involves building Rooftop HVAC units by assembling various complex component parts. You will perform a variety of assembly operations, moving within the area to meet production needs, performing tasks including buildup, electrical assembly, interior/exterior component fit-up, and final assembly. The position requires using a computer for assembly drawings, performing quality checks, and participating in 5S procedures. You will also take part in the training process for new team members, provide input on their performance, and participate in safety, process, and quality improvement teams. Collaboration with team members, supervisors, and support areas is essential to coordinate workflow and meet production requirements. Other duties as assigned will also be part of the role.
Requirements
- The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
- The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.
- The ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
Responsibilities
- Builds Rooftop HVAC units by assembling various complex component parts
- Perform a variety of assembly operations, moving within the area to meet production needs, performing tasks including buildup, electrical assembly, interior/exterior component fit-up, and final assembly
- Uses a computer for assembly drawings
- Performs a quality check on the unit before it leaves the assembly station
- Performs 5S procedures
- Takes part in the training process for all new team members
- Provides input regarding the performance of new team members
- Participates with other team members on safety, process and quality improvement teams
- Works with team members, supervisors and support areas to coordinate workflow to meet production requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned
