About The Position

Temp Client in Greenville, SC (Mauldin Area) has an immediate need for a 1st and 2nd Shift Assembly Candidate. This role involves repetitive movement of hands. The hours are 7am-3:30pm (M-F) with a pay rate of $15.98. Candidates must be able to pass a drug test and have a clean criminal background check. The client has a strict dress code: no piercings on the face, no tattoos on the face, neck, or hands. The job involves sorting, disassembling, and keying in refurbished locks. It also requires operating various production machines and special equipment, performing quality testing functions, and demonstrating good finger and hand dexterity. Basic math and reading skills are necessary, along with the ability to perform light lifting. Responsibilities include properly and safely loading and unloading machines, using gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements, and meeting attendance and punctuality standards. The role requires the ability to use common tools, understand and follow directions, and work with minimal supervision. Appropriate footwear is required for interviews and the assignment, covering the entire foot and made of leather or leather-like material. Some departments may require steel-toe safety shoes.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a Drug TEST.
  • Must have a CLEAN Criminal Background Check.
  • No piercings on the face, no tattoos on the face, neck, or hands.
  • Knows basic math and reading.
  • Light lifting required.
  • Appropriate shoes for interviews and assignment (all leather or leather like, covering the entire foot; NO sandals, flip flops, mules, sling backs, open back, open toe shoes, mesh material or canvas).

Responsibilities

  • Sort, disassemble and key in refurbished locks.
  • Operates all various types of production machines and/or other special equipment in the department.
  • Demonstrates good finger and hand dexterity.
  • Perform quality testing functions of lock rotation, key insertion, correct tumbler, key exit, etc.
  • Properly and safely loads and unloads machines.
  • Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
  • Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Ability to use common tools.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
