About The Position

The position of Assembly will be responsible for fulfilling painting duties required within Dept 131.

Requirements

• Must have basic math skills – adding/subtracting/angles/fractions/etc.
• Ability to read and follow process specifications, work instructions, blueprints, and verbal instruction.
• Ability to work on feet most of the day.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with hands, wrists, and arms.
• Mechanical ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to safely operate a hoist.
• Ability to work safely from an elevated position.
• Ability to operate hand truck and/or forklift.
• Use hand tools and power tools as required.
• Must be able to perform at routed rate.
• Must have great attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a group setting.
• Ability to use and comprehend inspection tools.
• Ability to work with high heat.
• Must keep work area organized, clean and safe.
• Must pass respirator exam and wear respirator for extended periods.
• Must not have facial hair.
• Familiarity with painting processes.
• Must have the ability to safely pick up and place up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling painting duties required within Dept 131.
• Perform general maintenance on spray guns and paint kettles.
• Must pass respirator exam and wear respirator for extended periods.
• Keep work area organized, clean and safe.
• Perform at routed rate.
• Move and position heavy objects with hoist.
• Safely operate a hoist.
• Use hand tools and power tools as required.
• Operate hand truck and/or forklift.
• Safely pick up and place up to 40 pounds.
