Assembly Worker
About The Position
We are hiring Assembly Operators to join a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This is an opportunity for dependable individuals to build experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. Assembly Operators work as part of a production team assembling automotive components while maintaining quality and production standards. The role is based near 18 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue and is scheduled for the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Weekends and overtime may be required as needed based on production requirements. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour, increasing to $17.00 per hour after 90 days. The workplace is a union shop.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a national background check.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing or automotive experience is a plus, but not required.
