About The Position

This position is for an Assembly Worker, initially temporary with the potential for full-time employment. The role involves operating hand and power tools, positioning and assembling parts and subassemblies, and verifying specifications through measurement. Key responsibilities also include maintaining a safe and clean working environment, installing component parts, and polishing and buffing welds. Candidates should possess attention to detail, mechanical inclination, and the ability to read shop drawings, wiring instructions, and a tape measure. A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, adapting to various projects as needed, are required.

Requirements

• Be able to operate hand and power tools
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand dimensioned shop drawings and wiring instructions
• Ability to read a tape measure is required
• Must be mechanically incline (Company can provide additional training on the job)
• Strong work ethic is expected
• Ability to work well as part of the team and a willingness to move between projects often and as needed is required

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
• Verify specifications by measuring completed component
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Install component parts, along with polishing and buffing welds
