About The Position

Dogwood Industries is seeking an Assembly Worker to join their team. The successful candidate will efficiently and accurately assemble components and materials according to plans and specifications. This role requires understanding written and verbal instructions, following drawings and work instructions, and experience in carpentry, roofing, material handling, or mechanical assembly. The candidate must also maintain a safe work environment through organization and housekeeping.

Requirements

• High school diploma, general education degree or vocational degree.
• 2+ years of experience with general trade skills for siding/roofing/metalworking or assembly.
• Ability to select the proper tool for the tasks and ensure proper operation.
• Skillful operation of non-specialized shop equipment.
• Participates in the development of processes for repeatable execution of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assembling of structural metal building panels in a manufacturing setting.
• Operation of hand and power tools.
• Accurate use of measuring devices including squares and tape measures.
• Participation in safe material handling and suspended load movements.
• Ability to follow instructions and execute assigned duties.
• Complete tasks within set timeframes to ensure goals are met.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
