About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring for Assembly Workers in Joliet, IL. As an Assembly Worker you will assemble and/or process quality products safely and accurately in a timely manner. You will concentrate efforts on assembling wood boxes according to customer specifications and operate equipment necessary to manufacture customer product. Equipment can include nail guns, staplers, hammer, band cutters, bander, pallet jack, and tape measure. You will be responsible for regular and reliable attendance, monitoring the quality of product being produced and notifying the lead or supervisor of any issues, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with verbal and written procedures, rules, and regulations throughout the shift. You will also be required to fill out your productivity sheet and shipping tag legibly.

Requirements

Stand for 8 hours at one time
Work in different temperatures
Lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to read a tape measure
Bending, pushing, pulling or moving materials

Responsibilities

Assemble and/or process quality products safely and accurately in a timely manner
Concentrate efforts on assembling wood boxes according to customer specifications
