About The Position

This is a mid-level position focused on processes related to an electro-mechanical product line, with a strong emphasis on quality, documentation, and timely schedule execution. The role requires the ability to manage multiple jobs and projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or relevant work experience.
• Experience working with precision mechanical components, schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Exposure to quality control procedures and documentation practices.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or oilfield service environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Proficient in the use of micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches, and other measuring tools.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory systems.
• Understanding of safety standards and safe work practices.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions with high attention to accuracy and quality.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Physically capable of lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
• Required to stand for an extended period of time.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Technical certificate or diploma in Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
• Completion of in-house assembly or wireline training programs is an asset.
• Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA or equivalent) preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in mechanical assembly, wireline tool assembly, or oilfield equipment manufacturing.
• Familiarity with wireline pressure control equipment and downhole tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain inventory supply by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipate needed supplies.
• Participate in a process of ongoing improvement to identify areas or processes to help improve the assembly and production areas and the company’s overall responsiveness to customers.
• Soldering of components.
• Accurately measure and mix resin/adhesive components to specified formulas and procedures.
• Vacuum assisted resin infusion.
• Assist in prototype builds to create and generate concepts for the improvement and development of designs and processes.
• Actively promote a positive safety culture within the facility, encouraging proactive identification and reporting of hazards.
• Perform duties and responsibilities of Assembly-Wireline 1.
• All other duties as assigned.
