About The Position

Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance. This role involves adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, quality procedures, and delivery targets to manufacture and assemble products. The associate will maintain a clean work area, perform operator care tasks, and collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure equipment is functional. Flexibility and participation in continuous improvement initiatives are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Must be able to work evenings.
Must be able to work some overtime.
Must be able to pass physical for breathable air equipment.

Work at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
Maintain clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.
Work with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.
Communicate effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.
Complete training and personal development in line with business requirements.
Participate actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
