About The Position

The College of Engineering and Technology at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate faculty and faculty leaders to engage and mentor students in the fields of IT and Engineering. Faculty at GCU are described as energetic advisors committed to student growth academically, spiritually, and personally. The College of Engineering and Technology offers rewarding opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at its Phoenix campus. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and passionate about teaching, with a desire to provide exceptional quality instruction in modern facilities with smaller class sizes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field or a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Candidates with exceptional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the stated requirements, as determined by the Assistant Dean.
  • Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with relevant work related experience.
  • Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
