Our SDG team in Salt Lake is eagerly looking for an Assembly & Test Quality Auditor to join their dynamic team. You will join the Quality team, reporting directly to our Missiles Site Quality Manager and be tasked with applying knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and procedures to provide direction and support related to defense products and contracts. This is an on-site, collaborative working environment that offers a 9/80 schedule to include every other Friday off! (Typical schedule is M-Th, 7am-4pm, every other F 7am-3pm)

Requirements

  • This position requires 5 years’ combined experience in A&T functions or functional Quality experience
  • High School diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
  • Prior experience conducting business system or operator audits is beneficial
  • Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 is preferred
  • Experience with military and commercial specifications is preferred
  • Possess a working knowledge of manufacturing, assembly, test, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting various audits with personnel to ensure that operators can access, understand, and follow Moog documentation
  • Providing feedback to operators, functional management, and site leadership on audit results, concerns, and areas of operator and business system improvement
  • Conducting FOD audits across A&T and other Material Control areas
  • Supporting other internal (cycle count verification, business system, safety, timecard, special process) and external (customer audits, reviews, AS9100) audits as required
  • Documenting, and supporting closure on actions taken from various audits
  • Performing training and certification for audit operators, final acceptance, and FOD.
