About The Position

This full-time, 100% in-office role is with trak group, partnering with a growing client in Springdale, Ohio, whose manufacturing team is expanding. The Assembly Technician builds, inspects, tests, and documents mechanical and electrical assemblies, including intricate ultrasonic systems, in accordance with engineering specifications and strict quality standards. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to specialized equipment production and develop technical skills in a fast-paced, quality-driven manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Ability to distinguish all colors.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Clear verbal and written communication with teammates, supervisors, and other departments.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify process issues and suggest solutions.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble intricate mechanical components and systems using engineering specifications and blueprints.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics to integrate wiring and electrical elements into assemblies.
• Perform functional tests to verify products meet design, quality, and performance standards.
• Inspect parts for proper assembly and cosmetic quality; identify and tag non-conforming parts for rework.
• Use and maintain assembly tools and equipment properly and safely.
• Monitor assembly supplies, maintain inventory awareness, and communicate needs to a supervisor.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
• Support additional manufacturing tasks as needed.
