About The Position

KI is seeking a full-time Assembly Technician for its Green Bay manufacturing facility. The position assembles furniture components using production equipment, tools, and scanning equipment, while following work instructions and maintaining quality and safety standards. This is a second-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The starting rate is $19 per hour, plus a $2.00-per-hour second-shift differential. A $1.00-per-hour raise is given within the first year of employment. Overtime may be required during the busy season.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to learn.
Ability to train on any shift.
Positive attitude.
Team-player approach.

Nice To Haves

Mechanical inclination.
Previous manufacturing experience, although it is not required.
Computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

Operate assembly production equipment efficiently and safely.
Use tools required in the work cell, including handheld drills or screw guns, vacuum lifts, riveters, impact tools, screwdrivers, and wrenches.
Maintain high levels of quality and follow work instruction documents.
Use scanning equipment.
Work both individually and as a team member.
Assist in any area of the plant when work in the assigned area is slow.
