About The Position

The Associate Technician supports the production department by meeting productivity and quality standards. The role follows work instructions, performs equipment calibration and setup, and communicates maintenance issues to the Supervisor. The technician identifies quality, process, and workflow problems and reports outstanding or recurring issues. The role also contributes to team training, communication, safety, and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Ability to prioritize, maintain organization, and meet strict deadlines.
Reliable attendance and punctuality, including adherence to break and lunch periods.

Responsibilities

Follow work instructions and motivate others to do the same.
Complete equipment calibration and setup, and promptly communicate maintenance issues to the Supervisor.
Identify quality, process, and workflow problems and inform the Supervisor of outstanding or recurring issues.
Participate in training Associates, mentor new hires, and cross-train Associates as needed.
Share information and expectations with the Supervisor, participate in team meetings and focus groups, and offer input on facility issues.
Treat Associates with respect and dignity, demonstrate a positive attitude, and report issues or concerns to the Supervisor.
Support management decisions, communicate concerns when appropriate, and assist the Team Leader and Supervisor in their duties.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and notify the Supervisor of potential safety or health issues.
Follow and monitor safety requirements and provide feedback when necessary.
Adhere to company policies.
