As an Assembler at Pentagon, you will be primarily focused on the rapid building of high-quality detailed assemblies. The hours for this role are Mon-Fri 4:00am-12:30pm, with weekends as needed. This role is initially offered as a temporary position through a staffing agency. Successful candidates who demonstrate strong performance and are a good fit for the team may have the opportunity to convert to a full-time, direct employee after completing the contract period, subject to business needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year experience in manufacturing assembly
- Fluent in English with good communication.
- Capable of following detailed procedures for hand assembly
- Must be a self-starter that can work independently without much supervision
- Work well as a team player with a positive “can do” attitude
- Independent worker that can follow detailed instructions with limited oversight
- Must pass Company required screening tests
- Be able to work in a clean room for up to 4 hours (including cleanroom suit, mask, hair net, etc).
- The employee is regularly required to sit and stand, reach with hands and arms and perform assembly work.
- Should be able to pick-up 50 lbs during normal job activity.
- Must have strong hand strength for wire crimping and routing electrical assemblies.
Nice To Haves
- Electrical assembly and reading schematic experience are a plus
- Experience working in clean rooms is a plus
- Soldering skills a plus
Responsibilities
- Following a detailed procedure, you will be responsible for the inspection of parts, kitting parts, and assembly of a complex mechanism using hand tools
- Record data, complete the final test of the assembly, and oversee the cleaning and packaging of the assembly.
- Maintain high productivity
- Manufacture high quality assemblies
- Maintains a clean, organized safe work environment
