About The Position

Carolinas Staffing is looking for Assembly Technicians in Leland, NC! This role involves using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test various devices. There are two shift options: 2nd Shift runs Monday-Thursday from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am with a 30-minute lunch. The Weekend Shift is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 12 hours per day, from 6 am to 6 pm, with a paid lunch break. For those interested in the 2nd shift, training will be conducted on the 1st shift for approximately one month before transitioning to the 2nd shift. The pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures and prints written in English.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.
• Completes all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Lead or Production Supervisor.
• Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
