Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
No previous manufacturing or assembly experience required
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to read basic work instructions and follow step-by-step processes
Dependable and punctual
Eager to learn new skills
Comfortable working with their hands
Detail-oriented and take pride in doing quality work
Able to follow directions and work as part of a team
Willing to contribute to a safe and positive work environment

Responsibilities

Assemble and wire control panels and components by following simple work instructions and drawings
Ensure all wires are labeled at both ends correctly and that there are no wire frays
Make sure all terminations are tight
Ensure proper wire sizes and colors are used
Log all time spent on each job into the appropriate software database using the traveler supplied with drawings
Perform basic quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
Use basic hand tools and production equipment safely
Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
Record completed work and production time as instructed
Communicate any questions or production issues to your team lead or supervisor
Work closely with teammates to meet daily production goals
