About The Position

As an Assembly Technician, you'll take assembly orders from start to finish, using your hands-on mechanical skills and a working knowledge of Industrial Automation to build quality products our customers rely on. This position also assists with miscellaneous warehouse duties as needed, approx. 30% of time.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED
6–12 months of hands-on mechanical assembly experience

Nice To Haves

A degree in Fluid Power or Robotics

Responsibilities

Build products following Hartfiel Automation job folders. This can include control panel assembly, valve stacking, fitting installation, pulling and reading orders, labeling, and testing finished products.
Run final tests on completed assemblies to make sure everything works just right.
Bring your ideas to the table; we're always looking for ways to do things better.
Use shop tools safely and take pride in keeping your workspace clean and organized.
Spend a portion of your time (~30%) supporting our shipping & receiving operations. Includes receiving incoming inventory, sorting and organizing parts, pulling items for orders, and making sure everything is accurately accounted for.
