This role is responsible for daily assembly of machinery from blueprints, schematics or verbal instructions. You will be doing all phases of large assembly including pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical construction. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to have own tools in a roll around toolbox.
  • Ability to foster and work within a team environment.
  • Ability to provide mentorship.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
  • Good reading, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Displays attention to detail and consistently follows Standard Work Instructions (when available) when completing tasks.
  • Demonstrates the qualities of a "Team Player" by accepting new responsibilities and filling in for other employees when needed.
  • Knowledge of LEAN Principles.
  • Skills in Forklift, Crane, Jib Crane (per Company certification).
  • Basic Layout Ability.
  • Ability to identify correct lubrication and correct amount.
  • Basic knowledge of ERC changes (on the job training provided).
  • Intermediate knowledge in layouts.
  • Ability to read prints and schematics.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years in an assembly area or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Daily assembly of machinery from blueprints, schematics or verbal instructions.
  • Performing all phases of large assembly including pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical construction.
  • Basic ability to read hydraulic and/or pneumatic schematics.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and volt meters.
  • Basic understanding of electrical prints with a continued knowledge of other forms of prints.
  • Basic adjustment of system components.
  • Wiring switches to print and starting to wire boxes.
  • Reading tape measure within 1/16".
  • Reading Level.
  • Identifying and using SAE, Metric, Fine and Coarse Fasteners.
  • Demonstrating drilling and tapping by hand, air or electric for assembly requirements.
  • Proficient with power tools.
  • Working at various heights, including on ladders, platforms, and scissor lifts.
  • Basic equipment recognition.
  • Basic print reading skills for assembling.
  • Ability to create ERCs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
