Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety guidelines and participate as a fully-empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents
  • Lead by example, representing the company’s mission, vision, and values and promoting a positive environment.
  • Maintains high quality, efficient operation of product and equipment.
  • Wrap mattress with a protective covering and sew ends of covering.
  • Insert wrapped mattress into a consumer-ready textile.
  • Seal covered mattress, labeling and applicable documentation into plastic packaging.
  • Box and strap finished mattress for shipping.
  • Work at different stations as production needs require.
  • Operate automated assembly equipment utilizing the HMI controls, and perform manual equipment operation or trouble-shooting as necessary.
  • Maintain and clean assigned work area.
  • Assists with other tasks associated with Assembly.
  • Perform quality inspections at every step in the process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Trained to use inventory management scanners.
  • Participate in inventory.
  • Learns and carries out netting, covers, boxing, covers, zipper and labels per written processes and procedures.
  • Understands and acknowledges pro-to-type paperwork and craftmanship inspection per written processes and procedures.
  • Can assist in providing training to other associates while following outlined processes and procedures.
