About The Position

This role is responsible for the assembly, testing, and painting of wellhead equipment. The technician will also manage material distribution, assist with stocking, and maintain the work area and equipment. Inventory management, participation in safety initiatives, and assisting in the shipping area are also key aspects of the position. The role requires ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations and contributing to a clean and safe work environment. Participation in a rotational on-call schedule is also expected.

Requirements

High School Diploma
1-2 years of related experience
Mechanical assembly/repair experience
Computer skills using MS Office or ERP system
Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of equipment use and field applications.
A strong commitment to workplace safety.
Good communication (oral and written).
Detail oriented, strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Valid driver license along with a reliable vehicle.

Nice To Haves

Forklift and overhead crane experience is an asset.
Knowledge of Stream-Flo Industries and/or competitors’ equipment would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Assemble, test and painting of wellhead equipment.
Pick and distribute material for assembly, storage or shipping.
Assist with stocking requirements by ensuring products are properly identified and put away.
Organize and maintain the work area, including maintenance/inspections of equipment, product storage containers and racking.
Responsible for inventory assignment for both warehouse and order selection.
Participate in safety meetings, monthly safety inspections.
Assist with the shipping area as required.
Participate in rotational on call schedule.
Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations or policies.
Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
