About The Position

This full-time position involves receiving training on the modification, assembly, checkout, and testing of semiconductor equipment at a manufacturing facility. The role includes performing on-site service, upgrades, modifications, and repairs on semiconductor processing equipment. Responsibilities also encompass diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance, maintaining accurate service records, and staying current with industry advancements. The technician will represent the company professionally at customer sites, adhere to safety and quality procedures, and collaborate with customers and team members to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented individuals with strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Strong work ethic and interest in building a long-term career with unlimited growth and advancement opportunities
  • 1+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
  • Excellent customer service and customer-facing communication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to work in a hands-on, physically active role
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Motivated self-starter with a desire for career progression and continuous development
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience and/or military experience in a mechanical or electronics-related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receive training on the modification, assembly, checkout, and testing of semiconductor equipment at a manufacturing facility in Chaska, MN
  • Perform on-site service, upgrades, modifications, and repairs on semiconductor processing equipment
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct equipment installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities
  • Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and required reports
  • Stay current on equipment, tools, and industry advancements through training, manuals, factory publications, and other technical resources
  • Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Represent the company professionally while working at customer sites
  • Maintain standards of conduct required by both WGNSTAR and customer facilities to retain site access credentials
  • Collaborate with customers and team members to resolve technical issues and support equipment operations
