About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Assembly Technician III. The rate for this position is $20.94 per hour. The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am until 4:00 pm and Friday from 7:00 am until 11:00 am. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. In this role, you will assemble, wire, modify, and inspect complex electrical and mechanical assemblies while supporting continuous improvement and high‑quality production standards. This position requires strong technical abilities, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • One year of assembly experience.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience
  • 1 year of experience using hand and pneumatic (air) tools.
  • Strong experience in reading Manufacturing Information (MI)
  • South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Work from manufacturing information, electrical/mechanical drawings, sketches, and written or verbal instructions from supervision or Engineering, following established procedures.
  • Complete required documentation including ISO checklists, quality and customer checklists, feedback forms, and production reports.
  • Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations as needed.
  • Assemble, wire, and modify complex assemblies beyond standard difficulty.
  • Perform lifting and assembly of heavy copper components in production processes.
  • Inspect assemblies for missing/loose hardware, accuracy, and cleanliness.
  • Respond to change notices, customer adjustments, and development needs.
  • Support engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer‑driven development work.
  • Train and coach colleagues to support skills development and knowledge transfer.
  • Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.
