About The Position

We are looking for an assembly technician to work in a manufacturing setting at our Deland, FL location. Assembly technicians will assist in the assembly of weatherproof sound attenuated enclosures for power generation systems. Needed is a dependable individual who can multi-task with exceptional communication skills. This individual will need to be a team player. The ability to work safely alone and around others is essential to this position as well. If you are a detailed oriented self-starter who can take initiative and prioritize and you have the required skill set and knowledge we want you! About Us: Coastline Power Solutions is an industry leading specialty power systems integrator that services the power generation industry. Located in DeLand, Florida, we engineer and manufacture customized generator enclosures, fuel tanks, and trailers, as well as provide a full suite of other related products and services, including bi-fuel systems, Mitsubishi engines and parts, and more. We also integrate and facilitate the testing of all customer-supplied and third-party equipment, which enables us to offer convenient turnkey solution options. Our engineered products are installed in critical applications throughout the United States and internationally, serving government agencies, the military, police and fire departments, hospitals, assisted living facilities, schools, data centers, etc.

Requirements

  • Possess strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of proper use of hand tools, impact tools and torque wrenches, and the desire to learn. Ability to properly read and use tape measure.
  • Ability to work safely alone and around others.
  • Experience reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Basic reading, math, and writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and highly motivated.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • Must pass drug test.
  • Possess appropriate tools to perform job duties.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior fabrication experience a plus.
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting skills a plus.
  • Possess strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Technical degree or certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install aluminum skins using mechanical fasteners and impact and hand tools.
  • Install refrigerator type doors and hardware on enclosures.
  • Secure assembled enclosures over generators and tanks and finishing trim.
  • Follow engineering plans, drawings and instructions.
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations, and maintain a safe and clean work area and tools.
  • Various other duties as required, directed, or assigned.
