About The Position

The Assembly Technician must be able to assemble, disassemble, and repair specific product lines. To perform the job properly, the Assembly Technician must have basic product knowledge, an understanding of production procedures, and ability to use common hand and power tools. The position requires self-direction, focus, and a strong desire to work within a team environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize to meet the expectations of the customer.
  • Detail oriented to provide the highest level of quality.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of relevant work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble fundamental components in accordance with the work instructions utilizing a combination of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
  • Assemble entry-level products to meet established standards for quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specifications.
  • Communicate with appropriate parties in relation to expedited orders, component quality issues, inventory records, etc.
  • Work safely by adhering to all safety policies and procedures and contributing to ongoing safety improvements.
  • Maintain an orderly work environment.
  • Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in Manufacturing Execution software.
  • Participate as a team member to achieve goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
