About The Position

Tempur Sealy is recruiting Assembly Technicians for second shift to produce and prepare bedding products for shipment. The role involves loading and unloading foam cores from processing machines, applying covers and other materials, and palletizing or boxing finished cores. Assembly Technicians follow safety guidelines and task instructions, maintain product quality, suggest improvements, help with other functions when needed, and keep their assigned work area clean. The hourly rate is $20.90.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and operate machinery continuously.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to work overtime and flexible hours during high-demand production seasons.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of PC usage and basic data entry operations preferred.
• Fork truck certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and participate as a team member in achieving the company-wide goal of zero incidents.
• Follow specific instructions for assigned tasks and suggest improvements.
• Load and unload mattress-sized foam cores from processing machines that cut and package them.
• Apply covers and other materials to foam cores, then palletize or box them for shipment.
• Ensure products meet company quality standards and escalate issues as needed.
• Occasionally fill in for functions outside the primary work area.
• Maintain and clean the assigned work area.
