About The Position

Kondex Corporation is looking for Assembly Technicians to join the Sickle Assembly department. Current openings are on the 2nd shift, with hours from Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 12 am. Hours may fluctuate depending on customer requirements and training needs. A $3.00 per hour shift premium is offered for the 2nd shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Prior computer experience in a manufacturing environment (ERP/MRP (Epicor) or HMI systems) is preferred.
• Prior experience using basic hand tools is preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Basic manual assembly using pneumatic and hand tools.
• Reading prints and routings.
• Performing basic inspections using hand-held measuring devices.
• Wrapping completed products in preparation for shipment.
• Closing orders in computer system.
• Perform manual material handling.
• Performing 5S activities, including limited preventative maintenance on equipment.
• May assist in training full time, part time, and temporary associates in the Sickle Assembly department.
