About The Position

BeautiSol, LLC is a growing company in the DFW area dedicated to developing innovative beauty and personal care equipment. We design and manufacture automated systems that deliver consistent quality, safety, and performance, combining precision electromechanical engineering with embedded control technology. We are seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician II to join our engineering and manufacturing team. This role will be directly involved in building, testing, and troubleshooting custom electronic and electromechanical assemblies for automated personal care equipment. You will work under the direction of a Senior Technician to assemble prototype and production units, perform PCB soldering and rework, build wire harnesses and cable assemblies, and support system-level bring-up and testing. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience with electronics assembly, is comfortable reading schematics and wiring diagrams, and can take on tasks with minimal hand-holding after initial training on our systems.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of hands-on experience in electronics assembly, electromechanical assembly, or a closely related role.
  • Proficient in PCB soldering and rework, including surface-mount and through-hole techniques.
  • Able to read and work from electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience building wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
  • Comfortable using multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, and other standard test equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistent workmanship quality.
  • Able to work independently on assigned tasks after initial training and direction.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to document work clearly.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced prototyping and production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with stepper motors, servo motors, linear actuators, or other motion control systems.
  • Familiarity with 24V DC power systems, relay/SSR wiring, and low-voltage control circuits.
  • Exposure to embedded systems or microcontroller-based products (e.g., ESP32, Arduino, or similar platforms).
  • Experience with pneumatic or fluid delivery system assembly.
  • Experience supporting prototype builds from early development through production release.
  • Background in automated equipment, industrial controls, or manufacturing equipment assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, solder, and rework printed circuit boards including both surface-mount (SMD) and through-hole components.
  • Build wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and interconnect wiring for automated electromechanical systems.
  • Perform mechanical assembly of enclosures, mounting hardware, actuators, motors, and related electromechanical components.
  • Support prototype bring-up, functional testing, and troubleshooting of assembled units.
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical assembly drawings.
  • Use standard test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies) to verify assemblies and diagnose faults.
  • Work closely with the Senior Technician and engineering team to resolve build issues and refine assembly processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of build notes, test results, and any deviations from standard procedures.
  • Support rework, repair, and field service of existing units as needed.
  • Follow safety, quality, and workmanship standards in all assembly and testing work.
