About The Position

The Assembly Team Lead is a hands-on role responsible for guiding a team of production associates on the assembly line. This position oversees daily operations, ensures production goals are met, and fosters a safe, efficient, and positive work environment. The ideal candidate leads by example, supports team development, and champions Guardian’s culture of safety and innovation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and production processes.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and lead a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Skilled with hand tools, torque wrenches, and basic measuring devices.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the assembly team.
  • Ensure production schedules are achieved with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Train, coach, and support team members on standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct quality checks to confirm bikes meet Guardian’s standards.
  • Quickly identify and resolve workflow issues or equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintain accurate production and equipment performance records.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to address team needs and process improvements.
  • Promote and model Guardian’s safety culture.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
