Assembly Systems Supervisor
About The Position
Ford's Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering (PTME) team is looking for a dynamic Assembly Supervisor to lead engineering teams delivering next-generation Engine, Transmission, and Axle programs across North America. You'll drive program launches from concept to implementation, partnering with Manufacturing Strategy, Product Engineering, and Suppliers to ensure top-tier quality, cost, and timing. Through Failure Mode Avoidance, automation initiatives like cobots and AMRs, and Kaizen events, you'll champion engineering excellence and continuous improvement on the plant floor. Beyond technical delivery, you'll coach and mentor your team, fostering a safe and high-performing culture. This is an exciting opportunity for a manufacturing engineering self-starter ready to shape the future of Ford's powertrain operations.
Requirements
- Manufacturing engineering background.
- Experience with program launches from concept to implementation.
- Familiarity with Failure Mode Avoidance.
- Experience with automation initiatives (cobots, AMRs).
- Experience with Kaizen events.
- Coaching and mentoring skills.
- Ability to foster a safe and high-performing culture.
