Assembly Specialist-D (2nd Shift)
About The Position
The Assembly Specialist performs a variety of light assembly operations, using drawing schematics and diagrams to assemble components or subassemblies. The role gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials; uses general shop equipment and pneumatic hand tools; and meets production and quality standards in a fast-paced, repetitive environment. The position also requires maintaining a clean work area and contributing to team efforts. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The listed starting pay is $22.00 per hour, including a $2.00 per hour shift premium.
Requirements
- High school-level education or equivalent, and specialized training that may be obtained through vocational courses or on the job.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to meet production and quality standards.
- Ability to work on repetitive assignments that may be moderately complex.
- Decision-making and judgment skills to perform quality checks.
- Positive attitude and ability to function in a team environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Use general shop equipment, including huck guns and a variety of pneumatic hand tools.
- Meet production and quality standards in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.
- Maintain a clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform quality checks and assemble components or subassemblies using drawing schematics and diagrams.
