About The Position

The Assembly Quality Inspector assists in operating the manufacturing line while ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety requirements. The role performs routine inspections of in-process and finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies, determines whether products meet quality standards, and records inspection results in a computerized MES system. Work is performed under close supervision and according to standardized written directions and visual aids.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in a relevant Jabil production position or equivalent external work experience.
QC certification.

Nice To Haves

Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing.
A degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various production stages.
Inspect in-process and finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards.
Read and follow visual aids, engineering change notices, and established operating procedures to determine product acceptance or rejection.
Follow standardized written directions and visual aids for assigned quality assurance inspection operations.
Visually inspect products using a magnifying glass, lot sampling methods, first article checks, and/or AOI machines.
Enter standardized information into the computerized MES system to indicate whether a board passes or fails.
Follow safety and health rules and regulations associated with the position and as directed by the supervisor.
Comply with procedures within the company security policy.
