Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify quality concerns and follow inspection procedures.
  • Must successfully complete required new hire, safety, and job-specific training.
  • Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed.
  • Exposure to a manufacturing environment, including moving equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

  • Operate assembly equipment and machinery while meeting all safety and quality standards.
  • Load and unload automotive components and assemblies from production lines.
  • Use manual and robotic systems to perform welding, adhesive application, and other assembly processes.
  • Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Package, label, tag, and track parts for storage and shipment.
  • Follow standardized work instructions and quality procedures.
  • Assist with equipment changeovers and adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and good housekeeping practices.
  • Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Follow all plant safety rules, company policies, and perform other duties as assigned.
