About The Position
Montague Latch Co. is seeking a dependable part-time Assembly & Packaging Associate to support daily production at its Clio, Michigan location. The role is scheduled for 20–28 hours per week on weekdays, with flexible daytime hours. It starts part-time, with the expectation that it may transition into a full-time position for the right performer as business needs grow. Strong performance, consistency, and initiative will be key factors in advancement.
Requirements
- Reliable attendance.
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs.
- Comfort with repetitive, detail-oriented work.
- Basic counting and documentation skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assemble latch components according to work instructions.
- Package finished product for customer orders.
- Sort plated parts and maintain accurate counts.
- Receive incoming parts and materials.
- Keep the assembly and packaging area organized and stocked.
- Support general shop tasks as needed.
