About The Position

This role involves operating various machines for assembly processes, including injection, gate trimming, joining, separating, shape cutting, water testing, laser marking, inspection, and packing. The position requires coordinating production schedules, organizing raw materials for lot changes, analyzing and correcting machine stops, performing quality checks, assisting Quality Assurance with samples and data recording, mixing chips for injection molding, and performing any other assigned duties by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED (minimum)
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must pay attention to detail and be able to spot small defects.
Responsibilities
- Operate different machines such as injection, gate trimming, joining, separating, shape cutting, water testing, laser marking, inspection and packing.
- Coordinate production scheduling by machine with manager and co-workers.
- Organize raw material for lot changes (a) transfer 20 lb. containers of chips by hand; (b) lift 5 lbs. by hand, shoulder high.
- Perform lot changes.
- Analyze machine stops; correct problem and restart machine.
- Communicate with Mechanic, TE and Manager regarding quality problems.
- Perform quality checks as required.
- Assist Quality Assurance by pulling daily samples; record daily production, scan job cards and transfer finished product to next process.
- Mix chips (2.5 kg per bag) daily or as many required to run injection.
- Pay attention to detail and be able to spot small defects.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
