About The Position
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Operator II candidates to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling server racks and computer hardware components while following detailed work instructions and quality standards. Candidates must be comfortable working in a production environment, lifting materials throughout the shift, and working both independently and within a team setting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of assembly or related manufacturing experience required
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift, push, and move up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the shift
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working on ladders when needed
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
- High school diploma or GED required
Responsibilities
- Open and unpack chassis and components for server assembly
- Install and replace brackets, labels, rails, handles, switches, and other components
- Integrate computer parts into chassis on a progressive assembly line
- Install small screws and hardware components with precision
- Identify and label cables according to rack specifications
- Install rails and assemble racks based on specifications
- Package finished racks for shipment
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
- Assist with recycling and material handling as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
