About The Position
This is a summer help position for an Assembly Operator. The role involves examining products to ensure they meet specifications, fabricating and assembling manufactured products by hand, performing safety inspections, reading work orders and charts, and using hand or power tools. Associates may be assigned additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
Nice To Haves
- Prior manufacturing, warehousing or industrial experience preferred.
- Demonstrated stable work history preferred.
Responsibilities
- Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications.
- Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand.
- Perform safety inspections in manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Read work order, instructions, formulas, or processing charts.
- Use hand or power tools.
- Put assembled castings in baskets or bins.
