About The Position

Pentair is seeking Assembly Operators I/II for their White Bear Lake, MN team, working 1st & 2nd Shifts. In this role, you will follow procedures for assembling products, handling equipment and materials according to the production department and company's quality system. This position may involve working in various areas such as seaming, banding, packaging, core cutting, pleating, and dispensing. The ideal candidate can maintain focus to meet high hourly assembly targets and perform repetitive tasks and motions.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months or more of experience in production with an emphasis on good manufacturing practices.
Requires both written and verbal communication skills in English.
Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 40lbs.
Steel toed shoes are required.

Responsibilities

Conducts safe and timely set up of assigned equipment using the work order, route packets, set ups and test methods.
Operates assigned equipment to meet production standards.
Conducts setup and operation of assigned equipment, inspects machined features to maintain quality, adjusts machine and changes perishable tooling.
Raises issues when encountered.
Follows all 5S practices and supports lean activities, as well as safety regulations, policies and procedures.
Inspects equipment and manufacturing parts to ensure quality.
Reviews shop operations packets, Bills-of-Materials, and engineering drawings to ensure that incoming materials to be assembled are correct to specified quantity/part number.
