This position assembles fabricated/machined parts and standards into partial or completed assemblies. The role involves reading and interpreting work orders and aerospace blueprints, preparing part surfaces, applying adhesives and sealants, fastening parts together using various hardware, and utilizing a range of hand and power tools. The Assembly Mechanic will also operate machinery like drill presses and presses, use precision measuring tools, perform functional testing, and ensure adherence to productivity and quality standards. A key responsibility includes supporting and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems. The role requires contributing to a positive work environment and performing any task necessary to support customer requirements and company goals, while also following all company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety practices.
