About The Position

As an Assembly Mechanic Level 3 at Honeywell Aerospace, you will assemble complex mechanical components and systems with precision, working with engineering and production teams to ensure assemblies meet quality standards and production schedules. The role is based onsite in Phoenix, Arizona, and reports to the Production Supervisor. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The position supports the manufacturing process by delivering high-quality mechanical assemblies that contribute to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Candidates must meet the U.S. Person requirement for compliance with export control laws: they must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Requirements

Proven experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment, including the ability to work with complex assemblies.
Strong knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions to produce accurate assemblies.
Experience using hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments, to ensure quality and accuracy.
Ability to inspect assemblies for defects and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in mechanical assembly processes.
Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

Technical certification or apprenticeship completion in mechanical assembly or related trades.
3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly in a manufacturing setting.
Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality craftsmanship and continuous improvement.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and resolve assembly challenges.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, fixtures, and tooling.
