About The Position

Productive Resources is seeking an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to join our engineering team at our customer's facility in Davenport, IA. This full-time, indefinite position involves planning, coordinating, and performing manufacturing engineering work for projects and processes within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process. While projects are typically of limited scope and responsibility, requiring decisions within established guidelines and potential review by supervisors, the role offers opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the organization.

Requirements

  • 1 or more years of experience with manufacturing processes, quality, tooling, preventative maintenance, and facilities.
  • Experience with engineering tools and manufacturing execution systems.
  • Experience leading and implementing projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills with operators, peers, and leadership.
  • Self-motivated and able to execute with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology discipline or equivalent related work experience (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical engineering).
  • Strong personal accountability, follow-through, and ability to foster a positive, engaged team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering work for a project or process.
  • Operate in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Lead and manage small to moderate scope capital projects.
  • Establish and maintain layouts, labor standards, methods, and sequence of events for assembly operations.
  • Analyze, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for current assembly operations.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas for loader cab assembly operations.
