About The Position

CompX National is hiring an Assembly Machine Operator - Team Member A - on our 2nd shift. This role involves operating various production machines, performing lock assembly operations, and conducting quality testing. The position requires good finger and hand dexterity, the ability to keep the work area clean and organized, and adherence to all company safety standards. Understanding and practicing Quality System requirements and documentation is also essential.

Requirements

• Good finger and hand dexterity
• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing production environment preferred
• Light lifting required

Responsibilities

• Operates various types of production machines and/or other special equipment in the department
• Cross train to run various assembly machines in assigned work area
• Perform variety of lock assembly operations
• Perform quality testing functions of lock rotation, key insertion, correct tumbler, key exit, etc.
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all Company Safety standards
• Understand and practice Quality System requirements and documentation (i.e. applicable inspection, verification, and disposition procedures, and/or instructions and forms required as part of the process)
