The primary duties are to safely stock and pull parts from inventory by a production schedule to keep the department running efficiently and on time. Utilizes computer to make inventory transactions, pull prints, performs cycle counting and run production reports. Accuracy of work is of the utmost importance with the ability to switch between responsibility with no negative impact on quality and productivity. Safely assemble various types of assemblies on manually loaded and actuated machines. Safely operate automatic and semi-automatic machines which have been set up and perform in process inspections. Measure manufactured product using a micrometer, caliper, overlay, optical comparator or other gages to ensure quality requirements are met. Develop their skills to a point that will enable them to produce quality parts at an acceptable production level. Works in other departments to help meet customer commitments which may include inspecting or sorting product, assists in keeping machines running or other activities. Will be assigned additional duties as required to meet team and company goals. The objective is to do whatever is necessary to reach the overall goal of ensuring the highest possible level of production, quality and customer satisfaction. Access computer for written work instructions, prints and documentation. Correctly utilizes time and attendance management systems. Identifies, contains, and follows all non-conformance procedures if a defective condition is found. Move material or product to other areas via a hand jack, cart and electric pallet jack. Employs lean concepts including 5S and recycling activities. Observes all safety regulations in all duties.
