About The Position

Responsible for the general supervision of the KIOTI assembly area and staff which involves the assembly of product, mainly consisting of, but not limited to, tractor units, attachments, implements, parts and accessories for dealer shipments or to satisfy other company requirements. Also may be involved in the teardown and rebuild of tractors.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
5-10 years of mechanical related experience required
Training on overhead hoist equipment required.
Forklift certified
Knowledge and experience with the following computer applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Nice To Haves

Certified training in related areas of mechanics and assembly preferred
Solomon, CRM and other applications are plus.

Responsibilities

Completion of departmental reports including daily progress reports, monitor the assembly schedule, any other company required reports
Basic setup and assembly of tractors: Attach all equipment needed per customer request - tires, steering wheel, rops, mowers, etc.
Tear down and repair; Work with Product Support Supervisor and Representatives to determine what tasks must be completed.
Parts ordering: Will be trained to order parts online that are needed to finish tractor builds.
Mechanical abilities: Must be able to determine problems and figure out solutions. Parts will not always fit correctly and will have to be modified without supervision. Paint will have to be touched up occasionally.
Other related duties: Must be forklift certified to move material around in assembly area. Will be asked to assist in all warehouse duties and responsibilities on occasion when assembly work is slow or when business deems it necessary.
Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the assembly area.
Responsible for inventory of tools and reporting loss, damage or malfunctioning equipment or tools to direct Manager.
Responsible to uphold and be aware of safety on the job and in the work area.
Will work closely with the Warehouse Managers and Product Support.
Responsible for training other assembly personnel as needed to support the assembly area.
