About The Position

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking an Assembly Flex Line Leader for the 3rd Shift. This role is responsible for leading and supporting daily assembly department operations, establishing production plans, communicating and executing changeovers, training associates, and ensuring production quality and a safe work environment. The position also supports continuous improvement initiatives and departmental goals.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with associates, supervisors, engineering, quality, and management to ensure production, quality, safety and environmental requirements are met.
• Regularly stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequently bend, stoop, reach and perform repetitive motions
• Lift, carry, push and pull materials weighing up to 55 pounds
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including chemical-resistant gloves, aprons, face shields, and safety glasses
• Ability to distinguish colors and read gauges, meters, labels, and process documentation

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily assembly department operations
• Establish production plan that relates to the actual shipping times
• Communicate and execute all change overs with General Associates and Finished Goods (FGA)
• Ensure all end of shift information is accurate and recorded
• Train and assist associates on departmental procedures and work instructions
• Complete required production quality and assist in troubleshooting process issues
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental goals
• Other duties as assigned
